How to merge PDF files
Drop or select two or more PDF files, use the up and down arrows to put them in the order you want, then click "Merge PDFs." Every page from every file is copied — in order — into a single new document, which you can download immediately. Nothing is uploaded: the merge happens using a PDF library running inside your browser tab.
What to know before merging
- Password-protected or encrypted PDFs can't be read locally — remove the password first.
- Page order in the final file follows the file order in the list, and within each file, its original page order is preserved.
- Very large combined files (100MB+) depend on your device's available memory since there's no server doing the heavy lifting.

Are my PDF files uploaded to a server?
No. Every PDF is read and merged directly in your browser's memory using a local PDF library. Your files, including any confidential content, never leave your device.
Can I change the order of the files before merging?
Yes. Use the up and down arrows next to each file to reorder them — the final PDF follows the order shown in the list, top to bottom.
Is there a limit on file size or number of PDFs?
There's no hard-coded limit, but very large or numerous PDFs (roughly 100MB+ combined) depend on your device's available memory, since everything is processed in the browser.
Will this work on password-protected PDFs?
No. Encrypted or password-protected PDFs can't be read by the in-browser library. Remove the password first using your PDF viewer, then merge.
