Privacy policy

The short version: almost everything on ToolVerse runs locally in your browser. When you compress an image, merge a PDF or generate a password, that file or data never leaves your device — there is no server processing it.

What runs locally (never uploaded)

The QR Code Generator, Image Compressor & Converter, PDF Merger, Random Picker, Mortgage Calculator, Password Generator, Background Remover, Unit Converter and BMI Calculator all process your files and inputs entirely on your device using your browser's own capabilities. We do not have a server that receives your images, PDFs, passwords or calculator inputs.

What does leave your device

The Currency Converter fetches live exchange rates from a third-party public rates API (Frankfurter, backed by the European Central Bank) so it can show up-to-date numbers — no personal data is included in that request, only the currency codes you selected. The Background Remover downloads its AI model files from our own server and, the first time you use it, from a public CDN; no photo is ever sent anywhere, only the model itself is downloaded to run locally afterward.

Cookies and local storage

Some tools use your browser's localStorage or sessionStorage to remember settings (like your last unit conversion or currency pair) between visits. This data stays on your device and is never transmitted to us.

If advertising is enabled on this site, our ad partner (Google AdSense) may set cookies to serve relevant ads and measure performance.
